The Gathering Is For The Manifestation
Moving Into Territories
Many believers are finding themselves drawn to certain cities, regions, and territories without fully understanding why. Some are relocating. Others are sensing a deep burden for a particular place. They may not have a clear explanation, but they know they are being led by the Spirit.
I believe the Lord is marshalling His forces.
He is positioning His people. He is gathering living stones into strategic locations for a future manifestation of His Kingdom.
What God Will Do with Living Stones
Jesus declared, "I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it" (Matthew 16:18).
When we look around today, it is easy to become discouraged. Many see compromise, confusion, and powerlessness within large segments of the modern church. Yet Jesus did not promise to build a religious institution. He promised to build His Church.
Peter describes believers as "living stones" being built into a spiritual house (1 Peter 2:5). God is preparing those living stones for something significant in this hour.
I believe we are entering a season where the Lord will begin revealing Himself to individuals in extraordinary ways. Just as He appeared to Ananias in a vision and gave him a specific assignment concerning Saul (Acts 9:10-19), many believers will receive divine direction and fresh Kingdom assignments.
The result will not be self-promotion or celebrity Christianity. The evidence will be transformed lives, supernatural obedience, and demonstrations of God's power that point people to Jesus Christ.
The Manifestation of Sons and Daughters
Romans 8:19 speaks of creation eagerly waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God. For decades the Church has preached about this reality, studied it, and anticipated it.
I believe the time has come to move beyond merely talking about it and begin asking God for it.
The Lord is raising up believers who understand their identity in Christ and who are willing to walk in deeper levels of obedience to the Holy Spirit. As this occurs, many will begin operating with greater spiritual authority, greater discernment, and greater demonstrations of the Kingdom than they have previously experienced.
The book of Acts provides the closest biblical picture of what lies ahead. Ordinary men and women became extraordinary witnesses because they were filled with the Holy Spirit and yielded to His leadership.
The same Holy Spirit who empowered the early Church has not changed.
New Places and New Assignments
Acts 2 begins with a simple statement: "They were all together in one place."
Throughout Scripture, God has repeatedly repositioned His people before releasing them into new assignments.
Noah was called to build an ark.
Abraham was instructed to leave his homeland.
Joseph was sent into Egypt to preserve a nation.
Moses was transformed from a shepherd into a deliverer.
David was taken from the fields and placed on a throne.
In every case, God used preparation, positioning, and obedience to accomplish His purposes.
I believe we are witnessing a similar pattern today.
Many are being led into new regions, new relationships, and new assignments. What appears to be a geographic move may actually be a Kingdom deployment. God is establishing centers of spiritual activity and gathering people according to His purposes.
If you find yourself sensing a pull toward a particular territory, do not dismiss it too quickly. Seek the Lord. Pray. Listen carefully to His voice.
The Lord knows where He needs His people.
The gathering is for the manifestation.
God is positioning His Church for what comes next, and those who are sensitive to His Spirit will find themselves exactly where they need to be when the time arrives.
